TCG Card Shop Simulator Shop Expansion & Storage Room
What an expansion actually buys you
Expanding is not just more room. Each main-room expansion does three things simultaneously:
- Raises the shopper cap. More people inside at once, up to the hard ceiling of 28.
- Raises the shopper wallet ceiling by $250 each. Shop level adds $100 per level on top. That total is capped at $30,000, and a rare “very rich” shopper can carry four times it.
- Gives you floor space for more shelves, a second register and more play tables.
That combination is why expansion outranks almost any individual furniture purchase through the mid game — it is the only thing that raises demand and supply at the same time.
Storage, warehouse shelves and the back room
Stock you order arrives as boxes. Warehouse shelves are where those boxes live until they are put out, and they matter more than they look:
- Small Warehouse Shelf — level 5, $500. Four item types, volume 64 per compartment.
- Big Warehouse Shelf — level 13, $1,000. Eight item types, same volume per compartment.
- Empty Box Storage — added in build 0.66, holds flattened empty boxes so they stop cluttering the floor.
- Card Storage Shelf — added in build 0.66. This is the one people miss: workers cannot restock single cards unless you own one, and it can be set to personal storage to keep workers out of your collection.
Build 0.62 turned warehouse shelves one-sided, which gave back floor space, and moved the labels down so they are readable from a normal standing position.
Lot B
Lot B is a second shop unit and the largest single step in the game. It adds its own expansion track ($400 per Lot B expansion toward the wallet ceiling, plus a flat $500 for opening it), its own floor space, and the All Your Base achievement — held by 42.3% of owners, which puts it right at the midpoint of the player base.
A known early bug had customers spawning inside Lot B before it was unlocked; that was fixed in the 1.0 patch.
The buying order that works
- Shelves and a second register before anything decorative.
- Main-room expansions as soon as each is affordable — they compound with everything else.
- Card Storage Shelf at the point you hire your first worker, not later.
- Lot B once the first unit is genuinely full and staffed.
- Pack Opener machines, projectors and decoration last.
Full prices and level gates are on the items page, and the full unlock ladder is on the level unlocks page.
